WatchSidelined during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Pacific FC have unveiled new PFC branded face masks with proceeds going towards their local restaurant partners.

With Vancouver Island’s pro soccer club, Pacific FC, still sidelined because of COVID-19, the team has a new goal in mind.

To keep people safe.

The team recently unveiled their new PFC branded face masks. Net proceeds from the masks will be going towards their local partners including The Beacon Drive-In, Strathcona Hotel and Darcy’s Pub.

The restaurants will use those funds to make meals, which will then be donated to food banks in the Langford area.

Team officials say its a way to help out local businesses while feeding those who need it most.

“Things are different. Our food partners are suffering and we know that,” said Brad Norris-Jones, the club’s vice-president of operation. “So, we need them to have some sales. We felt that was the way to go. Everybody is excited.”
