The Langford Fire Department and the Westshore Town Centre hosted a charitable “Pumpkin Smash” event at the Cineplex parking lot on Saturday.
And as it turns out, the event was a smashing good time as firefighters tossed pumpkins from a 105-foot fire engine ladder onto the pavement below.
The event was a fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy Canada and the B.C. Professional Firefighters Burn Fund.
