Upside hosts Jeff King and Ed Bain took their show on the road Wednesday with a trip to Mount Washington. The duo channelled their inner thrill-seeker to try out the new Eagle’s Flight ZipTour, opened earlier this year.

The zip line circuit covers over 2,300 metres in length, with users reaching speeds in excess of 100 km/h. Jeff and Ed took on the Abyss, the first of four spans on the zip tour.

“The first one is the highest off the ground at 275 feet,” said Sedona Simpson, a tour operations supervisor at Mount Washington.

“It’s a spectacular experience. We have all ages, people in their 80’s come in and do it for a bucket-list experience, it’s been great.”

Despite showing clear nerves prior to take-off, both Ed and Jeff were able to conquer their fear while taking in some of the best views on Vancouver Island.
