This season, CHEK’s Cookin’ on the Coast will be hosted by Red Seal Chef and award-winning cooking instructor Heidi Fink.
CHEK Media announced Fink as the new host of the show Tuesday, on International Women’s Day, with new episodes slated for fall 2022.
Fink combines international recipes with an accessible teaching style, including handy tips so at-home viewers can feel inspired to cook delicious food in their own h ome.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Cookin’ On The Coast,” said Chef Fink. “It’s a great opportunity to share my approachable recipes and teach viewers how to cook like a pro.”
Along with the new host, Cookin’ on the Coast will feature a new logo, a new set, more cooking instructions for viewers and a new push on streaming and social media.
Cookin’ on the Coast puts a focus on fresh meal options with a West Coast flair, and also features segments with local food producers as well as craft beer and wine producers.
The show, sponsored by Country Grocer for the fourth time, will be broadcast on CHEK TV and stream on CHEK+ when the new season rolls out in fall.
