A month after taking gold at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, Comox skier Cassie Sharpe has added a World Cup title to her collection.

Sharpe took gold in the final women’s halfpipe world cup event in Tignes, France, Thursday.

The victory also gives Sharpe the Crystal Globe for finishing first in the women’s halfpipe standings for the season.

Sharpe’s victory in France was a narrow one, finishing with a score of 90.40 and edging Marie Martinod of France by .40 points.

In the overall halfpipe standings, Sharpe earned 329 points, 23 more than second-place finisher Brita Sigourney of the United States.

Sigourney had a third-place finish in Tignes event.
