Langford’s Golden Girls
What a way to kick off 2017, as the Langford-based squad defeated the Americans 21-17 in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series Cup Final yesterday in Sydney, Australia. This is the third time the Canadian women have captured the Cup title, and the ladies will look to defend the gold when the next round takes place in late April in Kitakyushu, Japan. After a stop in Las Vegas, the women’s series makes it’s stop right here in Victoria on May 27th & 28th.
