Canada places 7th in front of record-setting crowds in Vancouver

The Langford-based Canadian Rugby Sevens team were in tough this morning against Rio Bronze Medalist South Africa in the Canada Sevens Cup Quarterfinal. South Africa turned a 17-7 first half lead into a 36-7 final, as the rugby powerhouse was simply too much for the home team.  

The Canadian men finished 7th overall.
