WATCH: For the first time in its history, the Canadian Women Rugby Sevens squad has failed to qualify for the Cup Round at the Kitakyushu 7’s.
The Canadian side was missing many key players such as Ghislaine Landry, and it showed, after a big win over Fiji to open the tournament, they suffered two critical losses to Russia and England to knock Canada out of Cup contention.
Canada will play Ireland tonight in the Challenge Trophy semi-final.
