Police and family members have issued another call for information on the disappearance of Jordan Holling, who was last seen in October 2017.

According to police, on Oct. 15, 2017, Holling left work at a Campbell River A&W and went to a friend’s home on 16th Avenue in Campbell River. He left his friend’s place sometime between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. to walk a short distance to his own home.

Police said he never arrived home that night and did not show up for work later that day.

The last sighting of Holling was on Highway 19 in the Campbellton area of Campbell River at approximately 2 a.m. on Oct. 16.

At the time of his disappearance, Holling was 17-years-old. He is described as 5’11” (179 centimetres) and 145 pounds (66 kilograms). When he went missing, he had shaggy brown hair and wore glasses.

Holling was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeved sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes with white soles.

Police said the disappearance is out of character for Holling.

“Locating Jordan is still very much a priority for the Campbell River RCMP, his welfare is of the utmost importance to us, his family and friends, and the community,” Cpl Chad Murray of the Campbell River RCMP, said in a statement.

“We are asking the public to assist us in locating Jordan Holling. If anyone knows anything that might bring Jordan home, please contact the police immediately.”

Anyone with information on Holling’s whereabouts is asked to call Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221. To report anonymously, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Saturday’s renewed call for information falls on the same day as International Missing Children’s Day. RCMP said the public can visit Canada’s Missing website for more information on missing children in the country.
