Campbell River RCMP ask for public assistance locating missing man

Campbell River RCMP says Frederick Thom, a 21-year-old Indigenous man has been reported missing and is asking for public assistance in finding him.

The RCMP does not say when Thom was last seen, but a surveillance photo provided shows him on Feb. 9.

Thom is described as a 27-year-old Indigenous male, 6 feet tall with a slender build, dark long wavy hair and dark facial hair. He was last seen wearing a grey zip zip-up hoodie/sweater, dark pants and rubber boots.

RCMP says they are very concerned for the well-being of Thom and believe he may be travelling to the Port Alberni or Nanaimo area.
