After winning against the St. Thomas Tommies, the Camosun Chargers men’s volleyball team have secured a spot in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Volleyball Championship.

The Chargers are advancing following a three-set victory (25-13, 25-21, 25-22) against the St. Thomas team.

Eduardo Bida won 4imprint Player of the Match for the Chargers, and Adam McDougall won for St. Thomas.

“We’ve been waiting for this for a long time, and so now I’m just happy we got the opportunity to play for the fold,” Bida said in an interview with CCAA after winning player of the match.

Tonight the Chargers will face off against the Titans de Limoilou for the gold medal in the championship.

The Titans secured a spot in the final after defeating the Humber Hawks three sets to two.

It will be available to stream live on the CCAA website at 5 p.m. PST.
