Boyfriend charged in connection with murder of pregnant mother of two in April 2000

A 52-year old man faces second-degree murder charges nearly two decades after his pregnant girlfriend went missing.

The body of Angel Fehr was found at an undisclosed rural property near 100 Mile House last week.

RCMP say Trent Larsen was arrested on September 15 and has now been charged in connection with the death of the 27-year-old.

A mother of two, Fehr had last been seen leaving a family dinner in Abbotsford in April 2000 with Larsen as the two headed back to their home in Kamloops.

Her family reported her missing in June of that year after failing to attend several appointments, including a prenatal exam.

In June 2016, the E Division Major Crime Section Special Projects Unit took over the investigation from the Kamloops RCMP.

Police would not say what evidence what led them to the arrest and the discovery of the body.
