It’s time to check your drawers, pockets, wallets or purses.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) is asking anyone who bought a Lotto 6/49 ticket in Victoria for the Jan. 3, 2018 draw to check their ticket, as the player with the winning ticket has still not come forward.

The winning ticket is 18923844-07. The winner has until the end of the business day on Jan. 3, 2019 to claim their money.

All lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward and claim their prize. The $1 million can be claimed at either one of the BCLC corporate offices. There is one in Vancouver at 2940 Virtual Way and another in Kamloops in 74 West Seymour Street.

BCLC said the winner’s name and the location where the ticket was purchased is only released after the player comes forward.

Unclaimed prizes from national games, like Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max, go to future bonus games or promotions.
