Getting around in Campbell River and the Comox Valley by transit will be free on Canada Day.

BC Transit has announced that it will be offering free rides throughout the Comox Valley Regional District and on certain routes in the City of Campbell River on July 1.

Due to the Canada Day celebrations, BC Transit says there will be some custom routing and schedule changes in the Comox Valley. This includes the use of a temporary South Downtown Exchange on Fitzgerald Ave at 6th Street and the use of a temporary North Exchange at Ryan Road and Old Island Highway.
