
A BC Transit bus went through the barrier in a crash on the Trans Canada Highway in Langford.
The incident happened just south of the Leigh Road overpass sometime around 7 p.m. Thursday night.
A witness told CHEK News a single-decker transit bus had gone through the barrier northbound.
BC Transit says it is aware of the crash involving a bus but is leaving details to be released by police, although an internal investigation will be conducted.
Emergency crews are on scene and the bus was towed away shortly before 8 p.m. and replaced.
Traffic was closed in the area, but one lane has opened for both north and southbound traffic on Highway 1.
A section of Millstream Road was also closed.
There are no reports of injuries at this time.
