The Coastal Celebration leaving Swartz Bay was delayed by almost 30 minutes Monday, after a woman was allegedly found naked and intoxicated in a vehicle.
Sidney/North Saanich RCMP say their members are on the scene following the incident, and that B.C. Ambulance is currently assessing the woman.
The vessel, scheduled to leave at 4 p.m., was delayed but is now heading to the mainland.
Police say the incident is under investigation.
