On June 24, daily sailings will resume between the two locations – a service that was temporarily suspended on April 4 as a result of health concerns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Starting tomorrow, the Brentwood Bay – Mill Bay schedule will consist of the following sailings:

  • From Mill Bay: 8:05 am (except Sunday), 9:15 am, 10:25 am, 11:35 am, 1:50 pm, 3 pm, 4:10 pm, 5:20 pm and 6:30 pm
  • From Brentwood Bay: 7:30 am (except Sunday), 8:40 am, 9:50 am, 11 am, 1:15 pm, 2:25 pm, 3:35 pm, 4:45 pm and 5:55 pm

“BC Ferries’ priority is the health and safety of our customers and employees and the company will strictly adhere to provincial and federal guidelines during this gradual resumption of service,” said the transportation authority in a press release.

“The company is following the directives and guidance provided by the Province of B.C. and Transport Canada.”

BC Ferries also continues to remind travellers about changing safety protocols, while onboard vessels or in terminals.

Some of the new measures include possessing a non-medical face covering and wearing it when two metres of physical distancing can’t be followed as well as all vehicle passengers are being asked to remain in their cars for the duration of sailings.

BC Ferries also is urging any travellers to keep checking their website for any updates as the situation in regards to COVID-19 regulations continues to evolve in British Columbia.

On Monday, the company revealed their new summer schedule, adding 120 more sailings per week along some of their major routes.
