BC Conservatives draw up (literally) a new plan for ferry service to Vancouver Island
Members of the BC Conservative party are unveiling a new plan that they say will radically improve transportation between Vancouver Island and Metro Vancouver.
The hand drawn diagram shows new roads and a new bridge between Gabriola Island and Vancouver Island.
New ferry terminals would also be built near the southeast side of Gabriola and west of Vancouver International Airport to accommodate a newly designed ferry.
A new rapid transit line would offer a connections to downtown Vancouver.
