WATCH: Over 150 archers descended upon the Juan De Fuca Rec Centre for the 2018 B.C. Indoor Archery Championships.
The 2018 B.C. Indoor Archery Championships, hosted by the Victoria Bowmen, took place this weekend in Colwood.
Organizers said they saw record numbers of archers come out to the event.
Competitors were vying for provincial bragging rights and a shot at the national stage. All ages and categories were featured at the event, which organizers say was a huge success.
“It’s been extraordinary,” Victoria Bowmen archer Gabi Courtorielle says, “there’s been over 150 archers which is the highest number that the Victoria Bowmen has had in the competition that they’ve held here, the level here is just fun for everyone all ages.”
