Langford firefighters load up the 105 foot ladder for the Annual Pumpkin Smash
Langford Fire brought their Annual Pumpkin Smash to Millstream Village this year, along with their 105-foot crane ladder.
The event took place on Sunday with firefighters dropping pumpkins from the top of the ladder to smash on the pavement below.
Aside from being a great way to blow off some steam and delighting crowds with pumpkin destruction, the Pumpkin Smash raises money for Muscular Dystrophy and the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund through a bottle drive.
The event also included warm drinks from Serious Coffee and BBQ from the Rotary Club of Westshore, both by donation to the charities.
