Kim Cattrall’s says her brother, Christopher Cattrall, has been found dead.
The news came fewer than 24 hours after she took to social media to ask for help after he was reported missing.
She says that he unexpectantly passed away and is asking for privacy for her family.
The Sex and the City actress first said he was reported missing from his Lacombe home in Alberta on Jan. 30.
His keys, cellphone and wallet were found in his unlocked home.
Kim Cattrall spent parts of her life growing up in Comox and has a home she vacations at in the Comox Valley.
“This is not like Chris. He would never leave his unlocked home without those items nor his 7 beloved dogs,” said Kim in her Instagram post.
