Passengers who were on a recent flight that landed in Victoria are being warned about possible exposure to COVID-19.
The British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) added Air Canada flight 8075 from Vancouver to Victoria on Nov. 2 to its COVID-19 exposure list Sunday afternoon.
The affected rows on the flight were 11 to 17.
Sunday’s update also included two international flights, Air Canada flight 855 from London (Heathrow) to Vancouver and Lufthansa flight 492 from Frankfurt to Vancouver. Both of those flights took place on Nov. 2.
WestJet flight 183 from Calgary to Kelowna on Oct. 29 was also added to the list.

BCCDC says passengers who were on a flight that has been added to the province’s COVID-19 exposure list should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days and those who were sitting in rows identified are considered to be at a higher risk of exposure due to their proximity.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, chills, cough or worsening of chronic cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of sense of smell or taste, runny nose, headache and fatigue.
BCCDC’s update comes less than 72 hours after they updated their COVID-19 exposure list to include two other recent Vancouver Island flights – Air Canada 192 from Victoria to Toronto on Oct. 24 and Air Canada/Jazz 8069 from Vancouver to Victoria on Nov. 2.
