Police say they are looking for one suspect after a stabbing a week ago near the Langford bus exchange.
On Oct. 11 at 9:55 p.m., West Shore RCMP received a report of a man who had been stabbed as he was walking on the paved E&N walking trail near Station Avenue going toward the Langford bus exchange.
Police say the 18-year-old male victim was stabbed once in the back and suffered non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
West Shore RCMP officers and a police service dog searched the area but did not find the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 30-years-old, 6’4,” with blond hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a black or grey hoodie.
Anyone who witnessed the stabbing or has dashcam video near the Langford bus exchange on Oct. 11 between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. is asked to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264. Anyone who knows the identity of the suspect or has more information about the stabbing is also asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
