Nanaimo RCMP revealed the winners of the 2018 anti-bullying campaign on Friday.
It is held in cooperation with Nanaimo & District Crime Stoppers and Nanaimo & Ladysmith School District 68.
Submissions were received from Grade One through senior secondary and were judged by Nanaimo RCMP officers from the School Liaison Unit and First Nations Policing
The purpose of the campaign was to bring awareness to anti-bullying day, held Wednesday February 28th.
The submissions were not only creative but quite thought provoking, and clearly told us that students care deeply about this issue
, said Constable Gary O’Brien of the Nanaimo RCMP.
Each winning submission received $100 and their respective school also received $100, compliments of Nanaimo & District Crime Stoppers.
