The BC Conservation Officer Service is alerting people to a recent daytime cougar sighting reported to them in Campbell River.
The large cat appears in a video shot by the resident of the property.
The BCCOS says the images were taken in the latter part of January but does not specify precisely where.
It reminds people that conflicts with wildlife can be reported 24/7 to 1-877-952-RAPP(7277)
