An electric bike valued at more than $6,000 has been stolen from West Shore Bicycle in Langford.

RCMP say they received a report of a break and enter at the business at 800 Kelly Road at 5:50 a.m on Wednesday.

Officers arrived to find that the front window of the store had been smashed and the bike on display had been taken.

The stolen bike is a men’s Specialized 29″  Levo FSR electric bicycle with a black frame and blue writing on it.

“We are asking for anyone who has information regarding the break and enter and/or theft to contact us. If you are out and happen to see this bike please report it to police immediately,” said Cst. Nancy Saggar, West Shore RCMP Media Relations Officer.
