A grueling journey that spanned more than a 1000-kilometers and 27 communities across Vancouver Island wrapped up on Friday afternoon.

The 22 cyclists taking part in the 21st annual Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock rolled into Victoria’s Centennial Square on a soggy day to cap off a journey that began in Port Alice on September 22nd.

The team was made up of police officers, members of the media, and special guests.

Once again, pedal power helped generate a lot of donations to fund life-saving research into children’s cancer and support programs such as Camp Goodtimes.

The 2018 edition of the Tour raised $1,234,002.75.
