Family and friends are remembering a 25-year old woman who died in a single vehicle crash south of Cedar on Thursday night.
Tianne Kennedy was described as a beautiful young soul who leaves behind a grieving family and a baby boy.
RCMP says at around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, a car travelling north on Cedar Road went off the road and collided with a pole.
The driver was alone in the car and died as a result of the collision.
Nanaimo RCMP Traffic Services, a collision reconstructionist and the B.C. Coroner’s Service are investigating.
Cedar Road near Bennie Road was closed for approximately three hours after the crash.
If anyone witnessed the collision, they are asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP Municipal Traffic Unit at 250-754-2345.
