DriveBC says Highway 19 north of Campbell River has reopened after an earlier closure.
The highway closed around 11:45 a.m., then reopened around 1 p.m.
DriveBC said the closure was due to a vehicle incident, and Campbell River RCMP said the incident involved a tanker truck.
The road is currently fully open, and DriveBC says it will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic around 3:30 p.m. to recover the vehicle.
