BC Ferries says a ship on the Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen route has been delayed due to a medical emergency.
In a tweet, the ferry organization says a customer was experiencing a medical emergency on board the Spirit of British Columbia which required immediate attention.
The ferry had left the dock but returned to Swartz Bay.

The 1 p.m. sailing on the Spirit of British Columbia was delayed by 86 minutes as a result.
