Body found at campground in Qualicum Beach, no evidence of foul play say police

Oceanside RCMP say the body of a 38-year-old male was discovered at Cedar Grove RV Park and Campground in Qualicum Beach on Saturday. They also said evidence does not suggest of foul play.

A man was found dead at a campground in Qualicum Beach over the weekend.

On June 6 at 9:48 a.m., Oceanside RCMP officers were called to attend the Cedar Grove RV Park and Campground, located on Riverbend Road, where they discovered a deceased 38-year-old man lying on the ground.

In a statement to CHEK News, Oceanside RCMP said the man was identified and that he had been residing near where he was found.

RCMP said evidence does not suggest that there was any foul play involved and that the BC Coroners Service will be handling the investigation.

The BC Coroners Service confirmed that a death on Riverbend Road was reported to them over the weekend.
