The City of Victoria has earned the dubious honour of being named the “dopest” city in B.C., according to delivery service Uber Eats.

Cannabis delivery through Uber Eats just started in B.C. last year, and since then the province’s capital has ordered the most marijuana out of any city that Uber Eats operates in along the West Coast.

The other cities that cracked the top five list are all located in the Metro Vancouver area, and can be found below:

  1. Victoria
  2. North Vancouver
  3. Vancouver
  4. Port Moody
  5. New Westminster

Uber Eats says the most expensive cannabis order placed in the province over the past year rang in at $307.98, and included “an ounce of bud and a bong.”

People must be at least 19 years old to order cannabis through Uber Eats.

When their cannabis delivery arrives, CannSell certified staff will make sure the recipient is sober and of age before they hand over their delivery. Independent third-party delivery people are not legally allowed to deliver cannabis, according to Uber Eats.

While Uber Eats launched in only major cities in Canada, it recently expanded to 11 more communities in B.C., including three on Vancouver Island. In March, Uber Eats launched in Comox, Port Alberni and Ladysmith.
