Mackenzie is a born and raised Vancouver Island girl who is happy to be home.
She joined the CHEK News team in 2022 as a multimedia journalist, reporting on any and all topics that relate to Vancouver Island.
Before joining CHEK, Mackenzie previously worked as an associate producer, reporter and anchor at CTV Regina. She also spent a few years as a radio anchor/reporter in Courtenay B.C., Timmins Ont. and at CKRM in Regina. While in Timmins, Mackenzie was awarded the 2017 News Reporter of the Year Award with Vista Radio.
Mackenzie graduated with a diploma in Broadcast News from SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary, Alta. In 2015.
