Motor vehicle incident closes section of Gorge Road, Saanich Police investigating

Saanich Police says it is investigating a motor vehicle incident that closed a section of Gorge Road Friday night.

Few details of the incident were released by authorities, but Saanich Police says the incident near Gorge Road and Harriet Road.

Police warn of a “significant road closure” on Gorge, between Harriet and Qu’appelle Street, and asked motorists to avoid the area.

Witnesses say at least two vehicles were involved, with fire and ambulance, along with police, at the scene.
