Cameron Bright, of “Twilight” fame, says Jacqui Kaese will always be a special part of his life.
Sarah Grey, otherwise known as DC’s Stargirl, is also a former student, as are countless others who have ‘made it.’ Kaese came to Nanaimo from the U.K. after falling for a dashing young hockey player, Trent Kaese. She went on to become a champion of women in film and of Vancouver Island talent.
She’s an award-winning casting director and highly sought-after coach and over the span of her 30-year career, she has helped elevate the film and TV industry here to dizzying heights. Kaese is this week’s Inspiring Island Woman.
