Traffic backed up on Highway 17 near Michell’s Farm following a head-on collision on Jan. 31, 2019. (Submitted).
Central Saanich police say a head-on collision is causing major traffic delays on the Patricia Bay Highway.
Police tweeted at 5:09 p.m. that the collision occurred at Highway 17 and Island View Road.
We are on scene at a head-on collision on Highway 17 at Island View Rd. Northbound and southbound traffic can expect delays. #yyjtraffic #csaan

Northbound and southbound traffic can expect delays. Drive BC said left lanes are blocked in both directions between Danica Place and Exit 21: Mt Newton Cross Road for 0.1 kilometres in Central Saanich.
