The approximate location of a brush fire burning on Salt Spring Island (Google)
Fire crews are battling a brush fire on Salt Spring Island that they say is burning at around one-hectare in size.
The B.C. Forestry Service has been notified and is on Standby.
Salt Spring Island Fire Rescue says the small fire is on the southern coast of the Island near Beaver Point Road.
