Collision snarls traffic on Highway 14 east of Sooke

Drivers on Highway 14 (Sooke Road) east of Sooke can expect delays Wednesday due to a vehicle incident between Impala and Kangaroo roads, according to DriveBC.

One Facebook user described it as a “big accident,” while another person took to social media saying two vehicles were involved in the crash.

Traffic was being detoured, but around 5:30 p.m. DriveBC said the road was fully open again, and the vehicle incident had cleared.

Both DriveBC and Google Maps are reporting heavy traffic in the area.

BC Transit had also warned bus-goers of delays.
