Community

CHEK has been a part of the community for over 60 years. As an employee-owned company we understand the value of community partnership. The mutual benefit they can offer and the important role they play in our day-to-day lives. Yearly, CHEK has given back over a million dollars in airtime and production support to numerous community groups. Those groups in turn help to make our communities stronger. CHEK is a local company employing your neighbours.  That means any marketing dollars you choose to spend with CHEK will stay right here in these communities.

There are a number of ways for your community group to become involved with CHEK.

1) Online Community Calendar: This is a completely free opportunity for charitable organizations and community groups. All you need to do is visit our online community calendar and fill in the form. Information submitted to this page is reviewed weekly and then listed on cheknews.ca for free!

2) CHEK’s televised Community Calendar features 5 community events each week. This calendar receives a high frequency schedule and can make a huge difference for any group looking to get noticed. If this is the level of sponsorship you wish to receive, simply fill in your event information on the online community calendar. We will choose three events each week from that calendar. As we receive many, many submissions each week we cannot guarantee placement and we cannot respond to everyone who has submitted.

3) A Sponsored Television Campaign: This level of sponsorship will provide the highest level of exposure. Each group who enters into an agreement with us at this level is viewed as a true community partner and we will do everything we can to provide exposure for your group. At this level there is an expectation that your organization will help offset some of our hard costs and that CHEK will receive a fair share of your marketing budget.

If this is the right option for you, please take the time to fill in the information below and someone will be in touch with you shortly.

Please note that CHEK requires a minimum 60 days notice.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out this information. One of our team members will be in touch with your organization shortly.
