Victoria police say drugs, cash, a shotgun, body armour and ammunition were seized during an investigation into a dial-a-dope operation back in March.

Police said Strike Force and Crime Reduction officers started investigating after they received information that a Victoria man was operating a dial-a-dope operation out of an apartment building in the 700-block of Johnson Street. While observing the residence for several days, officers saw the man allegedly conducting numerous hand-to-hand drug transactions.

Officers then got a search warrant for the residence and two vehicles on March 21. The man was taken into custody and police began their search. Drugs, including heroin, fentanyl and cocaine, more than $12,000 in cash, body armour, a shotgun and ammunition were seized.
