Canada’s Thenault and Nadeau take bronze in World Cup aerials finals

Canadian freestyle skiers Marion Thenault and Emile Nadeau won bronze medals at the World Cup aerials finals on Sunday.

Thenault, from Sherbrooke, Que., had 93.66 points in the super final for her fifth medal of the season.

Laura Peel won gold (110.36) and Australian teammate Danielle Scott took the silver (97.99).

It was Nadeau’s first career podium.

The 19-year-old skier from Prevost, Que., had 96.83 points in the men’s super final.

Pirmin Werner (123.00) and Noe Roth (118.55), both from Switzerland, took the top two spots.
