On March 16 and 17, Arrowsmith Search and Rescue will be leading a search of logging roads and the back country for missing woman Sara Sherry.
The search will focus on the area south of Highway 19 and Northwest Bay Logging Road in Nanoose Bay.
Sherry’s truck was located by searchers on Feb. 23 on a logging road, but she still has not been found. RCMP say bad weather since that time have hindered search efforts.
“Unfortunately, we have received no further information as to Sara’s whereabouts since her truck was located,” says Sgt. Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP. “As the last known location for Sara would have been with her truck, searchers will be focusing their efforts within that area.”
Anyone with information about Sherry’s whereabouts is asking to contact police immediately.
