Port Alberni pastor has wallet stolen during Mother’s Day church service

Port Alberni RCMP are looking for a suspect and appealing to the public for help after a pastor had their wallet stolen during a Mother’s Day service on Sunday at an area church.

Police say the suspect then used one of the stolen credit cards to make separate purchases at a shop on 3rd Avenue.

Anyone with information on the theft or the use of the stolen credit card is asked to call Port Alberni RCMP at 250-723-2424 or Alberni Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
