Police seek suspect who stole wallet, truck keys from Oak Bay recreational centre

Local law enforcement are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect who stole a wallet and keys from a recreational centre Oak Bay earlier this month.

According to a post on Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers’ website, a male suspect walked into the Oak Bay recreation centre on Oct. 11 and went into a locker room, broke into a locker and stole a wallet and keys to a truck.

After getting the keys, the suspect then went to the truck, opened it and stole cash that was found inside, the post notes.

Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers says the bank cards were later used to make the fraudulent purchases.
