Nanaimo RCMP says this is a recent picture of Ava Brown.
Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding a 16-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen or heard from since Feb. 17.
Ava Brown was reported missing to police on Feb. 21 after not having any contact with her support group.
RCMP says they have significant concern for her safety and well-being.
Brown is described as Caucasian youth, 167 cm (5 ft. 6 inches), 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
RCMP is asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
