Three people were injured after a driver hit a pedestrian then crashed into the BC Cancer Clinic near the Royal Jubilee Hospital.
The crash, which occurred near Bay Street and Lee Avenue, happened around 9 a.m. this morning, and VicPD says at this time the cause is believed to be driver error.
Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a factor.
A witness told CHEK News they saw a vehicle speeding “very fast” before it crashed into the building.
Victoria Police say the driver hit the pedestrian in a crosswalk, then proceeded over the curb into the nearby building.
The male pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening abrasions.
The female driver required treatment at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
The female passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

None of the occupants of the building were injured, and the pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

VicPD says officers will be on scene for several hours, and patients trying to access the BC Cancer Clinic will have to access it from Trent Street.
