Traffic backed up on the Pat Bay Highway at Sayward Road in Saanich.
Emergency crews are on scene of a collision on the Pat Bay Highway southbound at Elk/Beaver Lake near the boathouse.
The Saanich Fire Department said they were called to the crash on Highway 17 at around 5:40 p.m.
