DriveBC warns of limited visibility and heavy snowfall on Highway 4

DriveBC is warning drivers about limited visibility and heavy snowfall between Toquart Bay Road and Beaver Creek Road for 43.4 kilometres.

According to Drive BC, the road is slushy with slippery sections on that stretch of Highway 4, located two kilometres west of Sutton Pass Summit to Port Alberni.

Deb Smith saw some vehicles that had lost control and other drivers going slow while on her way to Ucluelet Monday afternoon.

“[I] wasn’t expecting snow on the way,” Smith said.
