Royal Roads University is warning people about a cougar that was seen in a nearby trail.
The post-secondary institution says the cougar was spotted on the western edge of the campus in some trails near the fire station Sunday afternoon.
“Please use the buddy system when travelling on campus and stay safe,” the school wrote on social media.
CHEK News has reached out to the B.C. Conservation for comment.
