WATCH: The Victoria Shamrocks defence shined in game one, allowing just four goals to the Maple Ridge Burrards in a 9-4 win in game one of the WLA Final on Friday night at the Q Centre.
Adam Shute stopped 34 of the 38 shots he faced in the game, and defencemen like Steve Priolo and Greg Harnett anchored the effort in front of the Victoria netminder. The Shamrocks now hit the road for game two in Maple Ridge before returning home for game three on Tuesday night in Colwood.
